I tried HDFLV player with Joomla and loved it but have decided not to use Joomla. So I have bought the standalone player.

I feel there is a lot missing: - there are no number of views being counted.
No thumbnails under the video like in Joomla.

But my real problem is that when the Playlist is open on the side, it squashes my video sideways and makes it look terrible.

I want the playlist open when the video is playing but I can't because it ruins the video. I'm plaiyng videos option 1, original size at 480x272. I have the flash vars set at 1000points wide so there is a lot of room!

Sorry to say. There is no option to do this.

You may use some arrow marks (image/text/...) to indicate the Related videos button.

I had the same problem and I fixed by changing the normalscale and fullscreenscale to '2' on xml/config.xml.
