HD FLV PLAYER

downloaded the most up to date demo version so that I can test it out before I buy.

On the install I received and error and constantly see the following,
"DB function failed with error number 1146
Table 'db278159949.jos_hdflvplayername' doesn't exist SQL=SELECT a.*,b.name,g.name AS groupname FROM jos_hdflvplayerupload a LEFT JOIN jos_hdflvplayername b ON a.playlistid=b.id LEFT JOIN jos_groups AS g ON g.id = a.access order by ordering asc LIMIT 0,20"

I am unable to create playlists and it appears that I can upload videos but they do not show up on the video list.

Please help!

You have issue with table creation. Please follow the below steps.

1. If you have installed hdflv player, please uninstall it.
2. Please make sure that the following table are not exist in your database. If exist, remove them.

jos_hdflvaddgoogle
jos_hdflvplayerads
jos_hdflvplayerlanguage
jos_hdflvplayername
jos_hdflvplayersettings
jos_hdflvplayerupload

3. Download the fresh package from our site and install the fresh package.

I uninstalled the component, dropped the tables in the database and reinstalled. No luck.

I get this error on install....

DB function failed with error number 1064
You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8 AUTO_INCREMENT=0' at line 6 SQL=CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS `jos_hdflvplayername` ( `id` int(11) NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT, `name` varchar(255) NOT NULL, `published` tinyint(4) NOT NULL, PRIMARY KEY (`id`) ) ENGINE=MyISAM DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8 AUTO_INCREMENT=0;

I am going to update my SQL from 4.0 to 5.0 as see if that helps.

updated my versions of SQL and PHP to the latest and greatest...problem solved!!
