HD FLV PLAYER

This native Joomla 1.5 component is very easy to install. Component is intelligent enough to enable HD button if HD video is available. It is flexible enough to upload videos or simply adding video url.

- You can control or remove or add player options from the admin panel.
- It creates thumb image automatically (FFMPEG)
- Enable or Disable FFMPEG from admin panel
- Overall it retains the video quality and produce output as video is uploaded

Am I suppose to install all the files that I see on the download page ?
No. Component is the primary file that you need to install. Modules and Plugin is optional, it is depends on your website requirement whether you want to install it or not

How do I show the component in the front page or set it up in Home page ?
After installing the component go to Menu manager, edit the home menu and choose HD FLV Player -> index.php

How to add videos? Can I group the videos by creating categories?
To add videos Components -> HDFLVPlayer -> Videos. Click new and add videos. There is four method to upload videos, either you can upload it from the computer, upload it from the computer with FFMPEG support, Youtube videos and direct video url.

Direct Video URL
We recommend to upload videos through FTP since there is a chance of restriction by your hosting provider when you upload files from the admin panel. In that case you can upload the files to any location and can provide the full path on our admin panel. Eg : http://www.yourwebsite.com/videos/video.mp4

FFMPEG
If you have FFMPEG server with your hosting account then you can upload the videos through FFMPEG. When you upload files through FFMPEG, HDFLVPlayer will automatically convert the files in to .flv format to play videos for the website users who visit your websites with slow connections. Also it creates thumb image automatically when you upload files through FFMPEG

Grouping videos by categories
We have given option to group the videos by creating playlist from the admin panel. Create playlist and assign the videos to it when you add or edit videos

Steps to insert videos in to the article

1. Install the joomla_hdflvplayer_plugin_demo.
2. In the plugin manager under extensions menu Hdflvplayer Plugin can be found.
3. Just publish it.
4. Following are the attributes that can be used for Plugin
* videoid
* Height
* Width
* Autoplay
* Playlist

6. Any one of the above attributes can be included...videoid is mandatory
7. Below are the formats for plugin

[hdplay videoid=3 height=300 width=700 autoplay=true playlist=true]
1.[hdplay videoid=1]
2.[hdplay videoid=2 height=300]
3.[hdplay videoid=4 width=700]
4.[hdplay videoid=3 autoplay=true]
5.[hdplay videoid=3 playlist=false]

Why do I get “Error! Could not find an XML setup file in the package” on Commercial package?
We provide component, modules and plugin in a single file in zip format. So, before you install the whole package you have to extract the single file that you downloaded. You will find component, module and plugin when you extract the file which you have to install one by one

Does your player supports videos from Streaming server
Yes, It does. HDFLVPlayer supports videos from RTMP and Lighttpd streaming server.

Can I use Google adsense on HDFLVPlayer?
It is not possible to have google adsense within the player. But, you can use google adsense, adbrite ads as an overlay ads on the player

Upload Failed: Please check post_max_size in php.ini settings Retry
You can increase the post_max_size through php.ini which is in root by adding the below lines
upload_max_filesize=20M;
post_max_size=20M;

Alternately you can increase the file size through .htaccess file which is in root by adding the below lines

php_value max_execution_time 1000
php_value upload_max_filesize 104857600
php_value post_max_size 104857600
